Amy Absher, a native Oklahoman and graduate of Oklahoma State University, is a 35-year energy professional recently retired from Chevron Corporation. Amy is a strategic thinker and motivational leader with a proven track record in driving transformational change at multiple levels within any organization. Her strong program management experience coupled with her commercial and information technology acumen has driven many successful business results.
Amy has provided advisory services to both commercial and non-profit boards including Aids Foundation Houston, SAP’s Energy Advisory Council, Petroleum Information Data Exchange, and The Women’s Home. She has recently joined the Board of Resonance Center for Women and the Red Dirt Relief Fund. In her retirement, Amy enjoys supporting the local arts scene. She volunteers regularly as a docent at The Church Studio and enjoys giving tours of the facility while sharing her love of the Oklahoma music scene with visitors.
